// HOLOSENSE SDC

Our design team was asked to design the future of Software Defined Cameras.


We were given free rein, with one real constraint: the market was saturated, and whatever we created had to stand out.


The project was carried out in collaboration with Above who supported in research, design work, project management and art direction, led by Gustav Müller Nord at Above.

My role and responsibilities:


  • Junior designer & Lead designer of the final concept

  • Participate in and plan ideation workshops

  • Design Ideation

  • Desktop Research & Expert Interviews


There are millions of cameras in China


Pain points:


  • Installation time and complexity

  • Upgrades and maintenance is a hassle due to installation complexities

  • Visually disturbing

  • Saturated market

// BLADE AAU 2.0

The R&D Office in Kista, Stockholm was tasked with developing a new antenna bracket and modifying the front antenna's design.


The updated design needed to simplify installation, reduce overall installation time, and allow different 5G antennas to be mounted at the back.

My role and responisibilites:


  • Ideate bracket and hoisting solutions together with engineers

  • Conduct user testings of the different ideas

  • Ideation on antenna design mods.


// SMART TV CONCEPT

Huawei was moving into the TV business, and wanted to answer one big question:


What will the role of TVs be in the future?


The project was carried out in collaboration with Above who supported with project management, ideation and UX work, led by Gustav Müller Nord at Above.

My role and responisibilites:


  • Designer and Visualizer

  • Desktop Research and define direction

  • Ideation on TV solutions and final design

  • Work with the agency to define the user

    journey with the help from their UX team.


// UPS CONCEPTS

Huawei's UPS range needed a design upgrade, moving it beyond the generic, utilitarian look typical of the category.


The brief:


"…stand out in the market, and make performance visible through the design itself, whether in a home office or a server room."

My role and responsibilities:


  • Lead designer of the Knightec consulting team (1,5 FTE - Including me)

  • Plan ideation workshops

  • Design Ideation and concepts

  • Desktop Research

  • Assist the Huawei team with design consulting input
